It’s time to get back to nature by taking off your shoes and walking on the earth: grass, sand, dirt, on the beach, etc. Barefoot walking is making a come back and for good reasons. It’s called Earthing! It means living in contact with the Earth’s natural surface charge. You are grounded when you are Earthing. By barefoot walking or by just placing your bare-feet on the ground while sitting, you will receive negative electrons from the Earth and your body will feel more relaxed. Inflammation and sore muscles will decrease and your state of mind will be more joyful. There is something magical about barefoot walking on Mother Earth.

Earthing is both a timeless practice and a modern discovery. When you are grounded to the Earth, you receive healing powers from Mother Earth. Our Mother is here to help us heal.

As a kid, I remember going barefoot in the back yard and when I was at the beach. It felt good, but I did not know of the benefits and neither did anyone else. I discovered the re-born aspects of Earthing from a book, called, “Earthing: The most important health discovery ever!” The authors are Clinton Ober, Stephen Sinatra, MD and Martin Zucker. Clinton and thousands of other people, many who are documented in the book, have seen their health rebound from Earthing. It makes sense as humans for millions of years were connected to the Earth by being barefoot or by wearing shoes that connected to the Earth. Shoes of the past were made from natural plant fibers or animal hides and these shoes had the Earthing connection. Since the invention of plastic shoes, and high-heeled shoes, narrow toe box shoes, etc., the health of humans has declined with aching  joints, bad posture, back pain, foot pain, muscle soreness and overall inflammation. Inflammation is a driving component in illness and disease.

When you start to do some Earthing, take your time and just stand on the Earth’s natural surfaces. Later on, you can walk and before long, you might even go barefoot hiking. The more you do it, the better you will feel from being grounded to the Earth. Even when the weather gets cooler and eventually, cold, you can still do some Earthing. I know as I Earth in all types of weather. Your body will adapt to the ever-changing weather of Mother Earth. I have found when it’s chilly or cold, just stand in place and your bare feet will slowly warm up the ground. Strive to Earth for about 20 minutes or longer if you can. I have felt the best benefits when I Earth for at least 20 minutes, but any amount of Earthing has healing benefits.

Many people who Earth have experienced many awesome healing benefits. Here is a list of some of the health improvements that people have reported: Improved Posture, reduction and sometimes, elimination of back pain and foot pain, better sleep, increase in mental focus and power, healthier immune system, reduction in arthritis, reduction in blood pressure, reduction is stress levels, including a reduction in cortisol, increase in libido, increase in energy, healthier skin, healthier metabolism, and much more.

What are negative electrons and why does the Earth contain them? According to science, atoms are made of extremely tiny particles called protons, neutrons, and electrons. Protons and neutrons are in the center of the atom, making up the nucleus. Electrons surround the nucleus. Protons have a positive charge. Electrons have a negative charge. The natural frequencies of the Earth are made up of waves of energy and the motions of subatomic particles called free electrons cause these waves. Electrons have a negative charge. These electrons give the Earth’s surface a natural, negative charge. There is a constant flow of electrons to the Earth’s surface from rain and lightning strikes. By grounding, we receive and absorb these negative electrons into our bodies. These free negative electrons reduce free radicals in our bodies and reduce chronic inflammation and bring a state of homeostasis to our bodies. Our body’s natural electric state is restored.

Crohn’s Disease

Digestive health issues are a huge epidemic in our society and one of the of most alarming digestive diseases is Crohn’s disease. Crohn’s disease is growing at a fast rate and unfortunately, modern medicine does not and will not have the answer or cure. Why are many people suffering from Crohn’s disease?

Crohn’s disease is classified as an Irritable Bowel Disease and it is a chronic inflammatory condition of the gastrointestinal tract. Crohn’s disease is also classified as an autoimmune disorder where the body attacks itself. It mainly occurs in the last part of the small intestine, called the ileum and the beginning of the large colon. However, Crohn’s disease can occur anywhere along the entire gastrointestinal tract, from the mouth to the anus and it can affect the entire thickness of the bowel wall. 

Some of the most common symptoms of Crohn’s disease include the following: persistent diarrhea, rectal bleeding, an urgent need to move bowels, abdominal cramps and pain, a sensation of incomplete evacuation and constipation. Other symptoms can include fever, loss of appetite, weight loss, fatigue, night sweats and a loss of normal menstrual cycles. 

The main cause of Crohn’s disease is a poor diet made possible from our modern society with the large processed food companies, fast food restaurants, agricultural chemical products in the form of pesticides and the ever increasing genetical modified organisms (GMOs) in the food supply. All of these modern applications to our food supply wreck havoc on our entire digestive and immune systems by greatly weakening the body’s ability to generate proper levels of stomach acid (hydrochloric acid), the body’s ability to absorb nutrients within the small intestine and the body’s ability to keep the proper balance of bacteria, mainly in the large intestine, but throughout the entire body. When these functions of the body are weakened or destroyed, disease sets in and one of these diseases is Crohn’s disease. Simply put, Crohn’s disease is the inability of the digestive system to digest, absorb and assimilate the nutrients necessary for a healthy body and mind. This sets the stage for the body to start attacking itself because the body sees the undigested food in the blood steam as a foreign invader. Couple the undigested food with the chemicals from food and body care products and the stage for general war against the body is set. 

The best way to mitigate or cure Crohn’s disease is a complete lifestyle change, beginning with healthy food. The most healing diet includes the following foods: grass fed beef, pastured chicken, wild fish, pastured eggs, oysters, avocados, coconut oil, olive oil, cod liver oil, bone broth from pastured animals, raw pastured butter, raw cow or goat milk, raw cow or goat yogurt and kefir, homemade vegetable juice, steamed vegetables, raw apple cider vinegar, raw honey and perhaps, some fruit here and there. All of these foods need to be hormone free and organic. Each person with Crohn’s disease will be at a different stage in their dealing with this disease and the above listed foods will vary from person to person. Some folks will be able to eat some fruit and cooked vegetables and some will not. Some folks will be able to digest raw milk and some will not. Some folks will have to eat a completely raw primal diet to ensure the best path to healing. Grains, beans, pasteurized dairy, nuts, seeds, added sweeteners, starches and raw vegetables need to be avoided to ensure the best healing of the digestive system. Avoid all processed foods, fast foods, GMO foods and pesticide laden foods. 

Certain supplements will be helpful and these supplements will vary from person to person. These supplements include the following: HCL with pepsin capsules, digestive bitters, digestive enzymes, probiotics, raw cod liver oil, whole foods based vitamin C, whole foods based zinc, other whole foods based vitamins and minerals, adaptogenic herbs, terramin clay and other supplements. 

Besides a radical change in diet, other lifestyle changes include the following: using very little body care products and these body care products need to be organic, getting outside as much as possible and soaking up the sunlight, following circadian rhythm, doing some Earthing (putting your bare feet on the Earth), engaging in moving your body, deep breathing, emotional expression and healing, reducing stress levels, spending time with loved ones, and standing up for yourself. If we are going to see any reduction in Crohn’s disease with the hopes of curing it, we start with what we eat and we eat foods that have healing energy and properties; and from there, we start to radical change the way we live on every level of life: physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. 

Circadian rhythm

Circadian rhythm is becoming more popular and for great reasons. When you strive to follow circadian rhythm you will begin to feel better. You will have more energy, a stronger immune system, a better working mind, a better sex life and a happier outlook on life. 

By following Circadian rhythm your hormones, especially leptin and melatonin, will become more effective in helping you feel amazing. Most folks are bathed in artificial lights too much and for too many hours after the sun sets. This throws off the production, timing and effectiveness of leptin and melatonin and a host of other hormones and neurotransmitters such as insulin, cortisol, dopamine and serotonin.

A huge health issue in the world is the lack of quality sleep. With staying up way past dark in artificial lights, melatonin will be greatly affected and it will not be sufficiently produced. The blue light from the cell phone, computer screen and light bulbs blocks the enzyme that converts serotonin to melatonin. Insomnia sets in and major immune problems can come into play because melatonin is the body’s main anti-oxidant and the body needs sleep to repair and to rebuild. Another hormone, that is a major anti-oxidant, is prolactin. Prolactin will only turn on if there has been sufficient production of melatonin. No wonder so many people have compromised immune systems. 

Strive to do your best in following the sun and circadian rhythm around the year and the four seasons: winter, spring, summer and autumn.

Cure for Cancer

Everyone has been touched by cancer, by knowing a relative or friend who had or has cancer or by having cancer, yourself, in the past or currently. Most all of us know someone that has died from cancer. Why is cancer such an epidemic in our society? Will there ever be a cure for cancer? Will modern medicine ever discover the cure for cancer or does the cure for cancer lie within the power of Mother Nature?

From my research and investigation, the War on Cancer from modern medicine is not working and the real cure for cancer lies within the natural world. 

The cure for cancer is a combination of several aspects of life, beginning with eating organic and truly healthy food, with a good amount of raw foods, including raw animal protein and raw animal fat. Other natural health aspects to cure cancer include using healthy body care products and cleaning products, following the circadian rhythm of the Sun as best as you can, walking barefoot (Earthing) on natural surfaces, sleeping well as sleeping dictates a healthy or unhealthy immune system, a healthy or unhealthy hormonal system and a healthy or unhealthy bacteria balance, drinking pure and filtered water, avoiding GMO foods, avoiding heavy metals such as mercury, aluminum, fluoride and lead, avoiding negative people and negative thoughts as best as you can, eating with the seasons, moving your body, engaging in some sort of strength training, breathing deeply throughout the day and engaging in a daily meditation and prayer practice.

Oysters for Health!

One of the most nutritious and powerful foods are oysters. Oysters for health! Growing up near the coast in Virginia, I ate a lot of seafood, including oysters from the Chesapeake Bay. Back then, I had no idea how heathy oysters were. I do now. 

Oysters are known as an aphrodisiac in some cultures. Perhaps it’s the shape and texture that make them an aphrodisiac, but the real reason is the powerful nutritional value of oysters. Oysters are packed with healthy protein and fat, both of which are needed for hormonal and neurotransmitter production and assimilation. Oysters for health! Oysters contain the most zinc of any food and zinc is the most important mineral for the immune system. White blood cells need zinc to be produced and to work properly. Zinc is needed for a healthy prostate and many men need a boost in their prostate health. Zinc is also needed for healthy muscles and healthy bones. Besides zinc, oysters contain the following nutrients: vitamin D, vitamin B12, iron, copper, manganese, and selenium. Oysters also contain high levels of niacin, riboflavin, thiamin, vitamin C, phosphorus, potassium, and sodium. The best way to obtain all the nutrition from oysters is to eat them raw, like I do. Squeeze some lime or lemon juice on the oysters and add some good cocktail sauce, preferably organic and homemade. If raw is not your style, roast, sauté, bake or grill the oysters. You will still obtain a huge benefit from the oysters if they are cooked. 

One last note of the benefit of oysters is their ability to absorb toxins and to assist in ushering the toxins out of your body. Your liver, which does most of your body’s detoxing through its phase 1 and phase 2 detoxification pathways, will love it if you start consuming some oysters. Oysters for health!

Chronic Disease

Chronic disease is everywhere in our society. What is going on? Has it always been this way? How many people do you know that are suffering from a chronic disease? Chronic disease is much larger than it use to be and it’s due to all the environmental toxins in the food, air, water, beauty products, skin care products, clothing and modern medicine, including pharmaceutical drugs and vaccines. Do you realize all the toxins in vaccines and the damage being done to babies and kids?

Sunshine and Vitamin D

It’s time to embrace the beauty of nature, especially the sun and to get outside and do some sunbathing. Sunshine and Vitamin D go hand in hand during certain times of the year, depending on where you live in the world. Be sure to allow the sun to shine on a large section of your body for at least 20 minutes, a few times a week. If you are pale, start with 5 minutes and gradually work up to 20 minutes.
Vitamin D is very important for a healthy immune system, skeletal system and neurological system. It’s helps with the absorption of calcium. Vitamin D can affect as many as 2000 genes. It’s called the sunshine vitamin as the body can covert the UVB rays of the sun to vitamin D through a conversion process done by the liver and kidneys.
When sunbathing to acquire vitamin D, do not wear sun block. After the 20 minutes of sunbathing, if you want to put on sunblock, use natural sunblock with zinc oxide. Sadly, most of the sunblocks on the market are full of toxins and damage the skin.

Leptin and Melatonin

Leptin and Melatonin actually go hand in hand in the workings of the body and mind; and getting back with the circadian rhythm with nature will have your leptin and melatonin hormones working effectively.

Most people are deficient in omega 3 fatty acids and most people are deficient in eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA),docasahexaenoic acid (DHA), Vitamin A, D and K2. These nutrients are essential for proper brain health, nervous system health, bone and teeth health, proper detoxification and overall immune health.

Once a standard supplement in traditional European societies, cod liver oil provides fat-soluble vitamins A and D, which Dr. Price found present in the diet of primitives in amounts ten times higher than in modernized diets. Cod liver oil supplements are a must for women and their male partners, to be taken for several months before conception, and for women during pregnancy. Growing children will also benefit greatly from a small daily dose.


Cod liver oil is also rich in eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docasahexaenoic acid (DHA). The body makes these fatty acids from omega-3 linolenic acid. EPA is as an important link in the chain of fatty acids that ultimately results in prostaglandins, localized tissue hormones while DHA is very important for the proper function of the brain and nervous system. Dr. Price always gave cod liver oil along with high-vitamin butter oil, extracted by centrifuge from good quality spring or fall butter. He found that cod liver oil on its own was relatively ineffective but combined with high vitamin butter oil produced excellent results.
