Greg Gillette, a nutritionist, herbalist and health coach is ready to show you how to repair, rebuild and restore your health through foods and natural supplements.
I began my career in the natural health industry in 1996 by working for Whole Foods, in Raleigh, NC. Working in the produce department was my favorite spot. I assisted customers with produce selection, provided nutritional data on various fruits and vegetables, and suggested various menu ideas and food combinations. Whole Foods was my springboard into holistic healing.
In 2000, I moved to Silver City, NM to attend the New Mexico College of Natural Healing to become an herbal consultant. In addition to studying herbal medicine, I was an apprentice at Desert Bloom Herbs. Between school and apprenticing, experience was gained in making herbal tinctures, salves, compresses, and teas. Other learning experiences include identifying and harvesting wild herbs in the mountains and desert and providing herbal consultations for clients.
In 2003, I returned for more education at Bauman College in Penngrove, CA. I studied nutrition and became a nutrition educator.
In 2005, I had the opportunity to work as a nutritionist at a nutrition clinic in Campbell CA. Experience and duties consisted of discussing natural health and offering nutritional advice with clients through out the country, responding to nutritional questions via email, and making recommendations in regards to natural supplements.
In 2009, I opened the doors to Gillette Nutrition. I have seen how disease and other health conditions can be reversed with healing foods. I have worked with all types of people with all types of health conditions, including heart disease, diabetes, cancer, arthritis, eating disorders, digestive imbalances, fatigue, weight-loss, allergies, ADD, mental illness, physical injuries and sports nutrition.
My main focus and areas of expertise and specialization are Digestive Disorders (constipation, IBS, Chron’s disease, Colitis, heartburn, Celiac disease, low stomach acid, indigestion); Neurological/Brain issues ( MS, Dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, Epilepsy, ALS, Parkinson’s disease); Endocrine/Hormonal issues, especially Adrenal Fatigue and stress; Arthritis and weight loss or as I prefer to state, healthy weight management. I currently reside in Denver, Colorado, and I am available for consultations in person, by phone or skype.
